CUISINE CRAFTERS PRIVACY POLICY

1. PURPOSE OF POLICY

We are committed to protecting your privacy as you use our service! We created this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Cuisine Crafters website, mobile application, and any other related services provided by us (collectively, the “Service”). This Policy covers how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our Service. The provisions of our Terms of Use (insert link) (the “Terms”) apply to this Policy as well. Any capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms.

All references to “we”, “us”, “our”, or “Cuisine Crafters” refer to Nove Markets Inc. all users of the Service, whether a Chef or a Customer, are referred to in these Terms collectively as “you”, “your”, or “users” (unless it is made clear from the language that these terms are referring to either Chefs or Customers).

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

Required Information You Voluntarily Provide Us.

In order to sign up for the Service, you must create an account which requires you to provide us with various information that is, or may be, considered personally identifiable information.

To create an account to access the Service as a Customer, you will be required to provide us with information such as your first and last name, ZIP code, phone number, and e-mail address, and you will be prompted to create a confidential password to access your account.

To create an account to access the Service as a Chef, in addition to providing the information listed above, you may be asked provide your physical address, certain financial information, including but not limited to credit card numbers, and your Social Security number.

We use this information for the purpose of providing you with the core aspects of the Service and to provide you with information and updates about the Service.

Optional Information You Voluntarily Provide Us.

In addition to the required information that you provide to Cuisine Crafters in order to create an account on the Service, there are various pieces of information you can, or may in the future be able to, choose to provide through the Service.

For example, you may choose to provide us with your physical address, phone number, photos, food allergies, and access to other information such as information contained in social media accounts that you connect to your account.

We also may collect and store communications that occur through the Service or outside of the Service between you and Cuisine Crafters, and communications that occur through the Service between users.

Further, now or in the future, we may allow you to provide us with access to additional information and data through integrations with third party goods and services.

The various categories of information in this subsection is, or may be, considered personally identifiable information, and is used for the purpose of providing you with the Service’s functionality. While all of the information described here may not be required to use the Service, some aspects of the Service may not be available if you choose not to provide us with such information.

Information Collected Automatically As You Use The Service.

In addition to the information that you provide to us voluntarily, Cuisine Crafters may, now or in the future automatically collect information through the Service such as your IP address, IMEI numbers or other unique device identifier, geo location, and information about how you use and interact with the Service and other similar activities in order to better understand our users and how they use the Service, and to improve the Service.

Tracking.

First of all, we do not sell or share your personally identifiable information with advertisers. We also do not share your personally identifiable information with other third parties except to the extent that it is in furtherance of the Service, or when you choose to do so (as described below).

Information Shared By You Through The Service.

In addition, as described in this Policy, some aspects of the functionality of the Service will require us to share your personally identifiable information with third parties. For example, in order to match you with other users upon your request we may share information about you, or you may share your information with other users.

To be able to effectively provide you with the Service, and to improve the functionality of the Service, we may disclose your information to our employees, contractors, agents, vendors, and other similar persons or entities, to the extent that such persons or entities have a need-to-know such information in furtherance of the Service.

In the event that we sell all or substantially all of our company or its assets, including the user information collected through our Service, we may transfer your information to the acquiring company.

Storage and Retention Of Your Information.

We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information.

Also, we use third parties to host and store some of your personally identifiable information, including complete social security numbers and credit card information. As such, we do not control their practices related to storage and retention of your information.

Security.

We use reasonable efforts to secure your information and to attempt to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you. For example, we require our personnel to sign confidentiality agreements that extend to your personal information; we review the privacy practices of new products and services that we integrate into our Service; we train our personnel on privacy issues; and we restrict access to your personal information to individuals within and outside of Cuisine Crafters who need access to such information to provide the Service. In addition, we rely on the technical safeguards provided by the third party vendors we use to host, store, and process your information. However, you acknowledge and agree that loss, misuse, and alteration may occur despite our efforts to protect your information. We are not responsible to our users or to any third party due to any such loss, misuse, or alteration.

5. GOVERNMENT REQUESTS

From time to time, we may receive requests from government agencies to obtain information about our users. In handling such government requests, we greatly value the privacy of your information. While we may be required to turn over user information at times, we will strive to require a search warrant or subpoena, to the extent that we can reasonably demand such warrant or subpoena, before we turn over information about you.

Our Service may utilize numerous third party services as part of the functionality of the Service, such as hosting services, analytics providers, communications services, and other vendors; and we may share your information with third parties to the extent explained in this Policy. In addition, due to the matchmaking nature of the Service, other users may have access to your information that you make available through the Service. We have no control over such third parties. Thus, we make no guarantees about, and assume no responsibility for the information, services, or data/privacy practices of third parties, which may differ significantly from our practices described in this Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of such third parties to the extent possible, and we encourage you to use caution in deciding the information you choose to make available on the Service.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Cuisine Crafters reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time, with or without notice to you. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective on the “Effective Date” indicated above. If you continue to use the Service after the Effective Date, you consent to the new Policy. Cuisine Crafters will always have the latest Policy posted on the Service.

8. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY STATEMENT

The following provision applies to users in the State of California. We do our best to keep your data accurate and up to date, to the extent that you provide us with the information we need to do so. If your data changes, then you are responsible for notifying us of those changes. Upon request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your personally identifiable information.

We will retain your information for as long as needed to provide you with the Service and may retain your information in anonymized form perpetually for the purpose of improving the Service. We may also retain and use your information in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.
